COLLEGE LEADERSHIP RHODE ISLAND

College Leadership Rhode Island, sponsored by Fidelity Investments, is a unique program for college students approaching graduation. With an orientation and four half-day sessions, the program helps college students make the transition from involved students to civically engaged citizens and employees.

Based on Leadership Rhode Island’s 25-year-old program for adult leaders in the state. the program provides information and experiential learning about Rhode Island history, issues facing the state, the nonprofit sector, public service and government, and community service at the workplace.

The curriculum is designed by the College Leadership Program committee, including Core Program alumni as well as representatives from Fidelity Investments and our higher education partners.

Getting Involved

All institutions of higher education in Rhode Island are invited to nominate students into the College Leadership Rhode Island program.

Participants are students approaching graduation from local colleges and universities, and are selected based on demonstrated student leadership, interest in enhancing their leadership skills, and strong interest in the state of Rhode Island. Each higher education partner is responsible for the selection process by which it chooses participants in this program.
